[Easter Egg] Alien Language Codex (Dead Space)
Description: In Chapter 6, after fighting the final creature that spills the gas out, there is a dim, flashing sign just before the anti-grav area. This is a codex for some of the letters and all of the numbers in the alien language.

Press START during gameplay
Input BLUE, BLUE, YELLOW, YELLOW, YELLOW to refill oxygen. This code may be used any number of times during play.
Add Space Credits (Once Per Game) *Dead Space*
Press START during gameplay.

You can only use the above inputs once per game (you do it again on a New Game Plus).
Keep Your Level 6 Suit for Impossible Game
Start a new game after beating the game once. Buy the unlocked Level 6 Suit. Win the game with a save right before the last boss. Don't save after the credits roll (you can skip them). Start a new game on Impossible and the suit will be equipped!

Ammo-4-U Dead Space
tip: onserving ammunition is vital as you get deeper into the ship. The old exploit from Resident Evil 4 works with the weapons here too.
How to: When you are out of ammo and have a Bench and several Power Nodes, you can refill the ammunition in the weapon to its new maximum by upgrading to a capacity node in that weapon.
Item Duplicating *Dead Space*
Location: Mission 3
Description: This is one of a few places you can exploit the game's placement of items.
How to: You are tasked to restart the Ishimura's engines. On your way to the engine room, there is a node locked door next to a set of malfunctioning, fast shutting doors.
Do not take items from the node locked room, but unlock the door & use the kinesis module to move the items (money, medikit, schematics, ammo) out of the secret room & leave them anywhere on the ground.
Use stasis to bypass the fast-closing doors & go to the end of the hallway to a save point outside the engine room. You do not need to save, just touch the save point. This gets you far enough from the node locked room to duplicate the items.
Travel back to the node locked room (past the fast closing doors) & some of the items in the secret room will be there, as well as the ones you used kinesis to move out last time.
This exploit stops working if you take any of the items (i.e., if you take the medikit, the medikit stops respawning) or when there are too many items on the screen (about 30 or so). If you need more stasis to get by the door, use the "Restore Stasis Energy" code seen on this page.
This exploit works elsewhere in Dead Space where you have preset items & can move far enough away to silent-stream in a new area or map.

How to unlock: Win the game for the 1st time once through in its entirety on the normal difficulty setting.
One shot, two kills
Ok, this is an easy one.
if you are nearly out of ammo and there are two or more slasher necromorphs coming at you, then use stasis on both of them and shoot the head off the closest slasher and make sure it is a precise shot and then the one without the head will start running around and flailing it's arms all over the place and will damage other necromorphs around you.
One Gun Dead Space
Here is something im trying for one gun achievment.I have completed the game a few times with my fully upgraded weapons.So when I was at the last level of the game on my 5 round,[It doesnt have to be your fifth,maybe your 3 or fourth,depends how you use your money,and your scavenger skill]I was at the save point right before the Hive Mind.I went to the store where the bunk beds are near the save point,sold all my guns except my plasma cutter or what ever its called and finished the level.Save Again,then load cleared game,oh and before you battle the hive make sure you get rid of unwanted ammo and stuff and use the money to fill your inventory with plasma energy and then you defeat hive mind,load your cleared game and try not to buy any other guns. Peng Achievement -[Dead Space ]
You can get the Peng achievement by using Kinesis to pick up the Peng Statue in Chapter 11. It's in the room where you 1st landed on the Ishimura and exited the Kellion. Look between the 2 walkways and you should see a little golden item on the floor.
Secret room (Dead Space)
On mission 2 "get the thermite" you will need to go to the med lab,as you take the platform lift to the lower deck just opposite is a room,enter and you will see a bookcase
use your KENISIS to move the bookcase to the left to reveal a secret room.there are pick ups in there!
10.000 CREDITS -Dead Space
On mission 2 you need to pass through 2 air-locks,it will take you outside the ship which is damaged,theres cabinates to get pick ups and you will come to a part where you will see a dead body floating in space,below you will see a grey moon,just below the dead guys feet you will be able to collect the 10.000 credits floating in space by using your "kenisis" TO GRAB IT.

Easy $$$ Money -Dead Space
Purchase the Contact Gun as soon as you can and its ammo will start appearing around the ship. If you can resist using it, just sell all of the ammo you collect for scores of credits -- 1,000 per unit!
