Discarding Weapons in Mercenaries Mode
Description: In Mercenaries mode, ammunition drops are based on the type of weapons you have. Use this to your advantage by discarding weapons you do not use. This causes more ammunition to be dropped for other weapons you want ammo for. Ex: For Wesker (Stars), drop the Samurai Edge to find more Magnum and Shotgun ammo.

Resident Evil 4 Referenced Easter Egg
After defeating the second Uroboros creature in the experimental facility, go to the chair at the end of the room and wait for the dialogue to finish. A '?' prompt will appear, and you can then sit in the chair and have a rest. This is obviously a reference to Resident Evil 4, where you can do the same thing in Saddler's throne room. Obviously Capcom wanted to bring back the chair again because of its popularity!

Bypass the Locked Gate in 2-1 (Resident Evil 5)
How to: At the very end of 2-1 you will ascend a building before fighting the chainsaw-wielding maniac. At the top of the building, you are prompted to split up so Sheva can work her way to the other side of the locked door below. You can avoid this entire scene and stay together by unlocking this door in an alternate way.
You will need a hand grenade, which you can find on the first balcony up the stairs in the building with the locked door. Actually, you will probably need more than one since this is a tricky toss. On this very balcony (the first one, not the top one), position yourself directly across from the "Animal Health" sign. Lob a grenade at this sign (aim a but lower than you think) and it will rebound off of it and land near the locked door below. This will blow off the lock. Go downstairs and exit via the door.
Alternatively, if you have the Gatling Gun, you can push it through the door and it will shoot off the lock from the other side.

Unlimited Money and Ammo
Unlike in Resident Evil 4, your ammo and money carry over every time you replay a level. Collect money and ammo in a
chapter; then pause, save and quit. Restart the chapter and you can
collect everything a 2nd time. This works well in chapters
1-2, 3-1 (the hovercraft level) and 4-1 (caves). As a general rule, this "farming" method works especially well in levels in which you can collect weapons worth money and ample hidden treasures like jewels and beetles. For instance, 3-1 has copious amounts of treasures, and a Rocket Launcher on the sunken boat that you can repeatedly collect.

Upon starting this level you'll be able to climb to the top of the crow's nest to the left of your spawn point. From here you may snipe the enemy that operates the crane. Look for him under the arm of the crane by the controls to the upper left. This will allow you to skip the scene in which your partner gets trapped in the cage. You can also snipe the enemy half way up the ladder, and the one by the caged area. The latter is easier to shoot from the level's initial starting point.

Quick money and machine gun ammo
If you've played through a few of the chapters and want to upgrade your weapons without the hassle of going round and finding the money then this is the easy way to do it.
first make sure you have at least got to the mine level ok.
quit the game and return to the title screen select "continue game" and then select "chapter select" go to the "storage facility" part and break open all the crates and barrels in the section with the two jeeps right where you start (you should get around about 1800 gold for this) then go to the briefcase that holds the machine gun and collect it.
leave through the door and let it save then exit the game (dont worry you keep all the gold and the machine gun you collected. do this a few times over to build up your gold and machine gun ammo and improve those low level weapons, enjoy

How to make first aid spray (Resident Evil 5)
Get a red herb and green herb and then go to your inventory. Press "combine" and you will combine both herbs to make a first aid spray. The herbs on their own only refill some of your health, but if you combine them to form a first aid spray you will have full health restored.
Majini Distraction
How to: You can click both analog sticks to taunt or goad nearby Majini into coming at you instead of your partner. Have your shotgun ready. "C'mon, c'mon!"

Inventory Duplication 2
Description: This requires two very cooperative human players, and a Live connection (or a split screen game and two profiles).
How to:
1) In the Inventory Lobby, invite a friend.
2) Start the level (use 1.2 to make it easy). Have the host hand items (Rotten Eggs, First Aid, Ammo) off to the guest for duplication.
3) With a full inventory, have the guest leave the game (it should say "All unsaved progress will be lost" -- select "Yes").
5) After selecting "Yes," another question for the guest will appear asking whether or not to save status and ammo. Choose "Yes" to save and you will have all the passed-on inventory saved.
6) Now, back to the host: Quit out of the game, but at the 2nd question, choose "No" and do not save ammo and status.
7)Restart the game with the two characters and you will both have the ammo and items. Duplication successful! (*** You cannot do this with weapons as you cannot hand them off to your partner.)
***** A popular money-making strategy involves duplicating Gold or Rotten Eggs. These are worth $2,000 a pop, and 5 can be crammed in each inventory slot. That means you can eventually be duplicating $90,000 each time. Finding Rotten Eggs can be tough; they drop randomly from enemies in later levels. So instead of running around the area trying to find rockets you have em already on your back.

Unlimited Money and Ammo (Resident Evil 5)

Right after you fall off the bridge and land on the ground keep running.When he's on your trail just shoot him with the rocket launcher in the back.

After encountering your first Majini and jumping out the window in Chapter 1-1, a long wave of Majini will stream out of an alleyway. Instead of running for safety, take them on. After 20 or so, a final one will leave behind the Topaz (Marquise).
Heart Stopper Achievement
1st you go to 5-1 and just run to the part where you face two lickers. Kill one of them and and shoot the surviving one with a shotgun until he's on his back then run up to him and press square. This is really easy on veteran with a handcannon and a shotgun with unlimited ammo. It is easiest on professional.
Unlimited Ammo for All! -[Resident Evil 5 ]
Once you unlock unlimited ammo for a gun, it will be unlocked for all copies of that gun you may have. Buy one for your partner so they can join in the fun! *** You will still have to fully upgrade any additional weapons to get their maximum power.
Instant Reload in Mercenaries Mode
When the melee option appears, reload your weapon. Now, activate the melee sequence. The weapon will be reloaded instantly (and the enemy out of your face).
Evade Attacks -Resident Evil 5
How to: If you have ammo or other pickups at your feet, you can use them to evade enemy grabs and other attacks. Simply initiate the item pickup as the enemy begins its attack animation. You will be invincible as you bend down. Your AI partner will temporarily remain invincible as well. This can save your life in Mercenaries!
Inventory Reload in Mercenaries Mode
Description: In Mercenaries mode you can reload your weapon by pulling up your Inventory screen and combining the ammunition manually with the gun (using the "Move" command button). Once you get used to this, you can use it to your advantage since it is a lot faster then reloading your shotgun, for instance, on the fly. More importantly, you can use this trick while climbing a ladder or when you are a jumping down to really save some time -- and possibly your neck.
The Heart of Africa (Resident Evil 5)
Description: There is a special treasure to be found in the boss fight with Jill & Wesker. If you beat up Wesker enough in the 7 minutes he has to spare, the Heart of Africa treasure will appear between the 2 stairs on the bottom level behind where Jill spawns during the 2nd half of the fight (and you can pick it up in the 2nd half too). One Rocket in Wesker's well-groomed face will do the trick (you have to shoot the rocket with another rocket or a gun while he holds it). Hide at the end of a long passage after he kicks you through the wall. Soon you will see on your map that he is spinning around, looking for you. Shoot him with a rocket. TADA!

When using the unlockable character Wesker in Mercenaries, you can click the Right Analog Stick (sometimes called R3) to initiate a dash. Press both Triggers while dashing to do a knee attack. Warning: This move will drain your own life meter, so use it sparingly!

How to: You do not have to play the game all the way through in one run to get a low total time. You can just go chapter by chapter, using the Chapter Select, lowering your time in each. Your final time is a total of your lowest runs through the chapters.

The Chair [Easter Egg]
In this pretty stupid Easter Egg, Chris & Sheva can take a short rest in a chair. There are chairs in Chapter 5-3 (at the beginning of the chapter, far end of the lab) and Chapter 6-2 (the Captain's seat).

Lead Aspirin (30) - Defeat a Majini with a headshot while it's jumping.
Lifeguard (15) - Save partner 10 times when DYING is displayed.
Masters of Removing (15) - Work together to save someone special.
Meat Shower (15) - Defeat 3 Majini with one grenade or proximity bomb.
Recruit (15) - Complete all chapters on Amateur.
Ride the Lightning (15) - Defeat a Majini using the electric current from a transformer.
Soldier (15) - Complete all chapters on Normal.
Stockpile (30) - Obtain all available weapons.
Stop, Drop, & Roll (15) - Defeat 3 Majini at once by setting oil canisters on fire.
Take It to the Max (30) - Completely upgrade all weapons.
The Works (15) - Chain the maximum number of combos together in one go.
They Belong in a Museum (30) - Obtain all treasures in the game.
They're ACTION Figures! (30) - Collect all the figurines.
Veteran (30) - Complete all chapters on Veteran.
War Hero (70) - Complete all chapters on the most difficult setting.
Who Do You Trust? (30) - Build up a certain level of trust with your partner.
UNLOCKABLES
Mercenaries Mode - Finish the game in any difficulty.
New Game+ - Finish the game in any difficulty.
Playing with Sheva - Finish the game in any difficulty.
Unlimited ammunition for a weapon - Max out the upgrades for that gun.

Safari Chris - 8,000 points
S.T.A.R.S. Chris - 13,000 points
Clubbin' Sheva - 6,000 points
Tribal Sheva - 15,000 points

Battle Suit Jill - 7,000 points
Midnight Wesker - 30,000 points

Be the knife achievement on multiplayer story coop
Both stand next to eachother in split-screen mode, one of you looks at the majini with the bow and one of you looks towards the floor.
the player looking at the floor stands ahead (but not infront) of the one watching the majini and then watches the other players screen.
When the arrow I as close as you think it needs to be then you swing your knife. Eventually you will deflect the arrow getting a result of 60G. (This works better on any level when the archer is quite far from you, the one where you start on the ship).
Avoid the Cage in 6-1 *Resident Evil 5*
Upon beginning this level ( 6-1 ) you will be able to climb to the top of the crow's nest to the left of your spawn point. Snipe the enemy that operates the crane. Look for him under the arm of the crane by the controls to the upper left. This will allow you to skip the scene in which your partner gets trapped in the cage. You can also snipe the enemy half way up the ladder, and the one by the caged area. The latter is easier to shoot from the level's initial beginning point.
Easy Big Man Majini Kill (Resident Evil 5)
When you're at the docks you will at one point see a fat man.That is a Big Man Majini.You will also see flamable cans.Shoot them.Big Man Majini will walk through the fire.But he's not dead yet.Shoot him.
