Star Ocean: The Last Hope CheatsDifficulties
There are 2 additional difficulty settings for the game:
| Chaos Mode | Win the game on Universe mode | | Universe Mode | Win the game on Galaxy mode |
The Wandering Dungeon
Defeat Gabriel Celeste in the Cave of the Seven Stars to unlock The Wandering Dungeon.
Location: Find Barago at the Old Road to Sanctuary and he will show you the entrance.
This dungeon is randomly generated and has no save / restoration points. The boss, the Ethereal Queen, is on the 20th floor, but the dungeon continues infinitely.
Universal Weapons
There are two weapons which can be equipped by any character and are very useful.
The Scumbag Slayer is obtained through the Symbol Of Bravery quest on Roak or through Item Creation. Though it drops the wielder's attack power it has the ability to instantly kill any enemy that has Scumbag in its name.
The Laser Weapon is obtained from the Orb Of Might's challenge on En II and is incredibly powerful with no strings attached.
100% Boss Info
Description: Get all info for bosses (since you only fight them once)
How to: Save your game before you fight them. After you beat them, save your game in a diffrent slot then reload the save before you fought the boss. The info you got for beating them is still unlocked!
Crowe's Ending
Description: Crowe's ending is easy to get if you enjoy conversing with random people. After landing on Nox Obscurus, teleport back to EN-II's main city and talk to all the women outside. One of them will give you a Funeral Bouquet and the recipe for making more (Certain scenes can only be viewed while holding one of these). After seeing the scene where your team finds the remains of Crowe's ship, examine it to place the Bouquet. His ending will play after the credits.
Cave Of The Seven Stars bonus dungeon
Successfully complete the game. Load your cleared saved game file. Enter the left door after going up the stairs after the final save point. Defeat the Undying Dragon to get the Darkness Ring. Return to the Coliseum in Tatroi. Go to the end of the left hallway on the first floor. Use the Darkness Ring on the glyph in the wall to access the Cave Of The Seven Stars bonus dungeon.Note the darkness ring has no energy so either use Lym's charge or find a person to charge it for a fee.
Secret Moves (Star Ocean: The Last Hope)
Meracle's Secret Move
To get Meracle's secret move, Max Shockwave, you must 1st get the Darkness Ring from the Undying Dragon and use it to get to the bottom floor of the Cave Of The Seven Stars on Roak. The Skill Book is in a chest behind the platform where you fight Gabriel Celeste. Walk around the platform and get this move before fighting Gabriel so you can use it during the fight.
Reimi's Secret Move
To get Reimi's secret move, Savage Sparrows, you must first get the Darkness Ring from the Undying Dragon. Use the Ring on the Holy Chest on the bottom floor of the Purgatorium in the same room where you fought Tamriel to get the Skill Book.
Secret Dungeon (Star Ocean: The Last Hope)
After winning the game, return to your final save and go up the stairs and into the door on the left. Here you will fight the Undying Dragon - beat it and you will receive the Darkness Ring. Faize's Secret Ending (Star Ocean: The Last Hope)
To see Faize's extremely hard-to-get ending you must see every single optional cutscene involving him and put him and Lymle in the same room for the majority of the game. Faize's extended ending plays after the credits (and after Crowe's if you got his too).

| A 1: |
I believe you that the little girl has the ability to charge rings with her charge technique. Or you can get a book to learn the technique. One or the other. It uses a certain stone to charge rings. However, Idont remember what its called. |
|
| A 2: |
Ok if you got the ID card of the dead cardianon inside the isolation chamber then all you have to do to recharge the ring is go back to the tempature/climate control for the icolation chamber. It's plasma energy refils the ring back up to max, BUT if you wasted you last charge with out getting the ID card I hate to say it but you must start a new game*I made this same mistake*. I hope I helped ^_^ |

| A 3: |
Yeah in some parts of the ship there are places were there are parts of the ship broken and there is electricity thats were I charged mine. |
|
| A 4: |
All you have to do is ggo back to one of the terminals that you short circuited with the Thunder ring, I was stuck on that for a couple hours, I almost did start that section over thinking I messed up. The terminals that you short circuited will be sparkling ya know. |
|
| A 5: |
Go back to the first door control you zapped, you can recharge the ring there! :) |
|
| A 6: |
I know on planet Lemuris in Lym's village Triom there is a lady standing in center that will recharge rings for a fee. I am sure there are more else where. |
|
| A 7: |
I ran into the same problem a couple of days ago... Almost reloaded, but there is actually a charge up point on one of the levels. Just look for a electrical spark coming from the walls and charge up from that. |
|
| A 8: |
You can charge the ring at the first terminal you destroyed on the 1st floor. |
|
| A 9: |
There should be a broken terminal that has sparks shooting out. Looks as if it were a "trap" that would hurt you, but the ring will absorb the electricity. |
|
| A 10: |
Charge your ring by just walking up to a terminal you already used the thunder ring on, press a and it will be recharged |
|
| A 11: |
There are only two charges: one is needed the first time to get to the next floor, and the last one is used to thaw the icy room (skip the terminal room for now). After the icy room is thawed, the console becomes a charge point for the ring. You are going to need to start over. I made the same mistake, but I was lucky and had a second save file that put me back at the beginning of the dungeon. I feel bad for you |
|
| A 12: |
For your lighting ring once you use it on the first door, check the sparks from the console. it will recharge your ring for you. that should help you out some |
|
| A 13: |
You can recharge your thunder ring at any of the stations you've already destroyed. Just backtrack a bit and you'll be fine :) |
|
| A 14: |
Go to one of the terminals that you used the thunder ring on and recharge it by confirming it and it should work. |
