I just completed the game myself and I did pick up and use the hatchet during the game. I cant remember exactly where it was found, but I do know that I had to pick a lock to find it. I didnt get it until I was a little more than halfway through the game. Hope this helps. |

I actually saw the hatchet its in side of a bath tub at the beginning of the game I seen it and tried to get it myself but it wouldn't let me get it its in one of the bath rooms at the beginning of the game. If its not in a bathroom look for a bath tub there's only a couple in the whole game so it shouldn't be to hard and its at the beginning of the game. I hope that helps some. the only problem I'm having is I cannot figure out how to solve the door locks with the nail I don't understand the puzzles at all I'm finding my self just randomly rotating the knobs and just trying to get lucky so if anyone knows how to solve them please tell |

I know exactly where it is the second time you go outside its down some stairs in the courtyard pick lock the door there will be 2 more doors you cant open and its in a gear box |

Your all wrong! if you start the game on Geoff chapter, at the beginning of the chapter you drop down a hole in the floor, after that you will come to a flight of stairs to right of the stairs is a pool of blood and in it is the hatchet! |
