Stay on the platform just above where you enter. The rooms to the side can provide cover when you're hurting. Watch out though, guys can spawn in the rooms right behind you. Crouch down on the platform in the middle of the stairs leading up and use the stairs as cover to slowly pick people off. Pick up lots of magnum ammo and a magnum before entering the room. If you have a magnum and 48 rounds, you'll be in great shape for that room. The magnum is perfect for killing the RPG guy quickly, and perfect to picking people off slowly from the staircase.
On Hard, you'll probably need to make a mad dash out into the middle of the room to collect health boxes at some point. Wait until you're between waves of new bad guys and then run for it. You'll come back with more health than when you went out, but you'll get shot while youre out there too. |
