Q: Need directions on how to cast for distance. I can get only 5 to 8 ft out. Didn't get a manual or directions with rapala profishing so am having a problem.?

Use Glass shad rap in Black smallest size. Cast out and point the rod tip down as you wind in just enough to make the lure go 1-2 feet down. Let the rod tip go back to normal and stop winding. Let the lure get back to surface and repeat. After walleye sees it and gets close you can leave the lure on the surface. I've caught 12 in a tournament this way.
